Thoughts on the upcoming Eclipse season

We’re about to enter Scorpio season, and it starts off with a bang with the New Moon Solar Eclipse on October 25th.

As someone highly sensitive to energy, I have been feeling the pulses of this energy for the past week in my awareness, being sick in my bed this week, purging physically.

This Solar Eclipse is exposing more about trust, who we feel we can trust and who we can’t. Because of so much shift that has happened in these past few years, this could be an intense Eclipse season, happening in the sign of Scorpio, the sign of death. We’ve had many things falling away from our lives already, and perhaps that’s getting the ball rolling to purge even more underneath. It is a layered process, bringing new realizations and pieces of ourselves that we are ready to integrate.

I personally believe that we have had dramatic situations that have come up for us throughout the year that have had our gears turning on how we value ourselves and how others value us. We’ve maybe been asking the questions on who sees us on a deeper level, and who do we feel safe enough with to be all of who we are? Who encourages us to stand in our power and speak our truth? Who is willing to stick around after the real hard conversations where you expose weakness and vulnerability?

When people are using their sharp tongues this season, as the energy usually calls forth with Scorpio, take a step back and listen to what is happening deeper within you. How are you working with your personal boundaries? Are you standing up for yourself? Are you communicating what you need to feel safe? You get to choose how deep you dive with another. You get to choose how much you let another’s actions or energy affect your energetic field. What are you learning about intimacy & relationships from these experiences with others, and what are you changing in your own life to benefit your soul-growth going forward?

Reacting and responding are two different things. And I bet you’ll get further information on who’s really in your corner this season as you strive to take a breath and respond from a place of authenticity and compassion for yourself and others. Use it as information on who really values deeper connection with you, and then manage your energy in a way that supports that information going forward. It is all just another part of this whole soul-growth experience we are moving through on this strange planet.
